Art & Creative Wellness Program
Healing and wellness can take many forms
MilVet Transitions recognizes that healing and personal wellness can take many forms. Through our partnership with True Top 1% Foundation, we connect veterans, service members, and military families with opportunities to explore art and creative expression as tools for reducing stress, building connection, and supporting overall well-being.
What Participants Can Experience
Through this partnership, MilVet Transitions can help connect the Central Texas military community with opportunities such as:
- Painting, drawing, and collaborative art projects
- Creative wellness activities and art workshops
- Veteran-focused community events
- True Top 1%'s Arts4Vets initiative
- Creative resources designed to encourage continued artistic expression outside organized events
The goal is simple: provide another positive outlet where veterans and military families can slow down, connect with others, express themselves creatively, and focus on personal wellness.
True Top 1% Foundation
True Top 1% Foundation is a veteran-focused nonprofit that uses creative expression and supportive community engagement to help veterans manage stress, rebuild confidence, and strengthen their sense of purpose and belonging.
True Top 1% has developed veteran-centered creative programs and a Mobile Mental Health Art Unit designed to bring art activities and resources directly to military bases, community events, healthcare facilities, and other locations.
